Here at Magic Pages, we always want to make sure that your Ghost CMS websites run on the latest version of Ghost. When we first launched our service, we manually updated all website, however, we have recently implemented an automatic update process.
When a new version of Ghost CMS is released, we test it in one of our test environments, usually within an hour of the release. This ensures that any new updates are free from obvious bugs before they are rolled out to customer sites??.
Once the new Ghost version passes our testing, an automated process is triggered to build a new update of Magic Pages' Ghost version. This is then rolled out to all websites hosted on our servers.
The entire update process typically takes about 15-20 minutes. So, in an ideal scenario, new Ghost versions are deployed to our customers' websites within approximately 1-1.5 hours after their release.
The update process is fully automated, with no manual action from our customers. Magic Pages handles all aspects of the update, ensuring that your website is always running on the latest version of Ghost CMS.
